Há zonas do edifício onde o isolamento não pode ser escolhido apenas pela condutibilidade térmica.

Nas fundações e lajes de ensoleiramento, o material está sujeito a cargas permanentes, contacto com o solo e elevadas exigências de durabilidade. É aqui que o XPS ganha relevância, pela combinação entre desempenho térmico, resistência à compressão e baixa absorção de água.

There are areas of the building where insulation cannot be selected solely on the basis of thermal conductivity.

Ao longo de dois dias, a conferência reúne sessões, workshops práticos, exposição técnica e momentos de networking em torno de um tema central: projetar e construir com maior desempenho.
