All VRS Coaches have prepared rain-ready setups, including telemetry insights and videos to get you as ready as possible for the upcoming week of racing around Motegi. Avoiding the puddles, and optimizing the rain lines, while minimizing braking mistakes is going to be key to master this week’s combo.

The NEW BMW M2 Racing (G87) is live in iRacing 2026 Season 3! 🔥 Head onboard with VRS coach Jake Burton as he tackles the twisty and technical Okayama circuit in the BMW M2 Cup. Study the lines and level up your lap 👇
🔑 Key Coaching Points:

Brake hard at the 100m marker. Straight-line stop for max entry speed.
Late apex through the first complex, rotate around the curb.
Exit tight, commit to throttle early, manage steering angle.
Trail brake to assist front-end rotation on entry.
Cut the inside curb aggressively, let it drift wide on exit.
Sharp entry braking to shift weight forward, short and precise.
Coast the initial turn phase, late apex, clip the curb for a clean exit.
No mid-corner hesitation. Commit to your line for stability.
Smooth inputs = more momentum heading onto the straight.
Hard braking, don't turn in early or you'll kill your exit.
Trailbrake into a very late apex for the best exit trajectory.
Ride the middle curb, open steering slightly to help the car settle.
Use full track width on exit for stability and earlier throttle.
Sharp lift on entry to snap the front end in, cut the curb safely.
Stay wide on exit to set up the final sequence perfectly.
Late turn-in, coast through, prioritize a clean platform for power.
Patience on the final corner. Use the astroturf to maximize width onto the straight.

Watch This Before You Race Fuji. 👀

VRS coach Paschalis Gkergkis just dropped a 2:04.118 at Fuji in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) and every single input is worth studying.

This is IMSA on iRacing at its finest. Clean lines, precise braking, and a lap that shows exactly what separates fast from faster.

Brake late and position the car to attack the inside, aiming specifically for the anticut curbing.
Maintain a tight line through the apex to properly set yourself up for an optimal exit trajectory.
Execute an upshift while clipping the edge of the grass, focusing on precise throttle control to manage the car’s balance.
Committedly take the car over the anticut curb to minimize the corner radius.
Carry a wider line on entry to ensure a straighter path on the exit for maximum acceleration.
Extend the car wide toward the track limits, but ensure you don’t overdo it to avoid off-track penalties.
Initiate trail braking early to settle the car, and begin opening up the steering as you approach the mid-corner.
Release the brakes, clip the curb slightly for rotation, and continue opening up the steering angle.
Ensure your line remains disciplined; do not run too wide over the anticut section to keep the car settled.
Open up the steering early and focus your entire attention on maximizing the exit speed.
Close in on the apex while prioritizing a straighter car attitude for better power application.
Be careful with your positioning over the anticut curb on exit to maintain stability under power.
Prioritize a straighter line to put more rubber on the track and achieve better overall traction 🙂
