Short answer: yes. The brake feels more consistent, finding peak pressure without tripping ABS is way easier, and trail braking feedback is chef’s kiss. Oh, and throttle adjustment in about 30 seconds? That alone sold me.

Martin Kronke takes the Aston Martin Valkyrie LMH around Fuji for Week 3 of the IMSA series, picking up the action from Turn 8.

Hard on the brakes into the Dunlop Chicane (T8-T9), he trails off to rotate through the tight right-left complex before powering uphill. Managing Sector 3's tricky grip, he balances the car on a knife-edge through the off-camber Supra Corner (T13). Threading the needle through Netz Corner (T14-T15), he sets up a wide entry to hug the apex of Panasonic Corner (T16), maximizing traction to rocket down the massive 1.5-kilometer pit straight.

* Use the curb to widen entry
* Brake hard at the board, modulate into the apex
* Cut through the anticut, stay tight for next corner
* Lift to rotate, cut curb again, straighten the car for early power
* Brake at the grass, very late apex for better drive
* Lightly on curb, open up on exit using full track
* Open up, light braking to maintain balance
* Late apex for straight run and early throttle
* Don’t use curb on exit to prevent wheelspin
* Very wide line, patient set up for late turn-in
* Focus on exit speed down straight
* Straightline the car for max momentum down the straight

Here are the key takeaways for gaining iRating around Vegas this week:
�• Shallow Entries: Take a middle-of-the-track line on entry to set up smooth turn-ins.
• Throttle Control: Turn in, ease off the gas, and get right back on the throttle quickly.
• Hugging the Line: Keep it tight down on the bottom white line. Missing it even by a foot will cause severe bumps and tight handling.
• Qualifying Tip: Cut down onto the apron coming off Turn 4 to shave off those extra hundredths on your hot lap!
