seen a post today that said “2020 can still be yours. because 2020 isn’t over—it’s just different” and whew chileeeee it hit deep in my spirit! so I just wanted to come spread a little light on this here good Monday. So in my “what’s the 411” chats with God lately I catch myself being like okkkk umm so what’s up i thought I was like one of your favorites like drake say ya know?! You gave me this dream i trusted it, I followed it now a pandemic ?!?!! not just any pandemic oh nooo one where that same vision seems to slip further and further away. Like what’s goooooddddd keep it hot! 😂
it’s a frustrating feeling. not knowing what’s next or what to do next. As entrepreneurs, creatives, business owners, “bosses” etc. we tend to forget that we signed up for the rewards AND the risk. the good times AND the bad and whew that’s not always an easy pill to swallow
But I say all that to ask you, what’s the alternative? It’s tough out here in these rona streets but honestly the idea of going back to a life any different than the one you see here is just as upsetting chile. any life other than this right here just isn’t gonna cut it for me. and trust me I’ve BEEN there DONE that and bought the T-shirt!!! the truth is the more we move in purpose and passion the less “alternatives” we are willing to take. It will require a level of humility and faith that most won’t (not bc they can’t but bc they’re unwilling to) tap into. it’s what allows us to operate as doers and not just thinkers. No matter what this pandemic has brought you, triumph or trial, I hope you’ve reconnected with your why and you find strength to keep pushing through the uncertainty. It isn’t over, even if it feels that way in this madness. but it isn’t. not yet. not even half way through (literally) so keep MF’N going because i mean what’s the alternative?
