The Academia Society, Inc. shares with deep sadness the passing of Dr. Jarvis T. Adams, a Fall 2021 Inductee of the Atlanta MPAC Chapter.
Dr. Adams was a dedicated scholar, leader, and servant to his community. A proud graduate of Edward Waters College, Central Michigan University, and Argosy University, he earned his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and committed his life to shaping minds and building strong educational communities.
His work spanned both the classroom and administrative leadership, including meaningful service with Atlanta Public Schools. Through each role, he carried a steady commitment to scholarship, service, and leadership—values that defined both his profession and his character.
Dr. Adams’ impact will be felt for years to come through the students he inspired, the colleagues he uplifted, and the community he served with care and purpose.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, home chapter and all who were touched by his life. His legacy lives on in the lives he helped shape.
