This teenager was filling up his Mustang when the older gentleman pulled up with his can for the mower and was patiently waiting. The teenager noticed, pulled the nozzle out and said "Sir will you please let me see your can?" He filled it up as the older gentleman objected. When the kid finished, he put the nozzle back into his car to finish filling up his own. He refused to take money from the gentleman and wished him a wonderful day. They are all over this country and they come in many shapes and colors. Teach your children to be like this. It all starts at home with the parents. Be a parent, not a buddy.

It is with a heavy and sad heart that I make this post .
After 33 1/2 years, on April 1st I will be closing my doors forever.
The Strohmer family has been serving Baltimore for over 135 years.
Starting with groceries in the 1880's, and continuing in housewares and hardware thru 4 generations.
We will continue to repair screens , windows, and mowers till March 15th.
Please stop in for great closeout buys, or just to reminisce on all the good times we've had.
Thank you all for your support over the years.

It does.
Today I am here to say THANK YOU !!! PARKVILLE !!
Today I start my 33rd year here at Strohmers.
I wouldn't be here without you.
It has been my privilege to serve you these last 32 years!
Solving your problems, repairing your screens, mowers, lamps, etc.,etc.,etc.
I love what I do, and I love my customers.
I'm blessed.
Not looking for another 32 years, but I'm not done yet either !
So let's keep it going Parkville !!
