Got some feedback from some collectors that Objkt’s interface made it difficult to look at 2300 images in the collection. So I made a custom website that makes it easy to scan, sort, and group the images. All link back to objkt once you find one you like. Link in bio!

and my Hermes experimental film agent go really well together. Krea 2 makes image previously impossible with base models: beautiful distortions, grain, and motion blur. It’s a really fantastic model. Hermes calls this one “The Hand Becomes a Weather Instrument”

This was the first Hermes agent test that excited me (happened about 4 hours into the full setup). I told the agent to learn about Stan Brakhage and try to recreate it. And it’s a TERRIBLE recreation, but what it learned via text and tried to translate to visual reminded me so much of how I tried to learn about without having seen a lot of it.

For the next few months (or until I get bored), any experimental film festival accepting submissions is getting an exclusive Stop Making Sense made just for their festival. If you curate a festival and are interested please get in touch.

Stop Making Sense combines my experimental film and algorithmic art practices, generating unique one-of-one audioreactive films from a series of ~20,000 (and growing) handmade 16mm film frames.

Any rejected films will be published publicly on my website. Accepted films will screen exclusively at the festival and no where else.
