Great News for racing sailors!
And a reminder of what a great person Luiz was. I still smile when I think of him

Yacht Scoring is pleased to announce that it is joining the North Sails Group family. Their ongoing mission to support the sport of sailing and increase participation aligns directly with that of Yacht Scoring.

Founded in 2006 by Luiz Kahl, Yacht Scoring is an easy-to-use yet powerful web-based race management and scoring tool used by hundreds of yacht clubs and race organizers around the globe. Luiz, who passed away unexpectedly in 2021, was a software developer by trade, a competitive sailboat racer, and a passionate race committee volunteer.

“The continuation of Yacht Scoring by the North Sails Group preserves Luiz's legacy and will keep building on his vision.” says Gui Kahl, Luiz’s brother.

And that’s a wrap! Tools and equipment removed from both trucks. They went in mid September and came out today. We finished the last of our fall rig work this week.
Now we just reorganize the shop and start some winter projects.

If you have sails for winter repair/maintenance, let me know soon. The last trailer load of sails will go to the loft the week after Thanksgiving.

Stay well and get your winter prep done for next sailing season

60ish sails in the trailer delivered to the last TD this morning. If you still need to get your sails in for winter maintenance, now is the time. I will be available at my shop or we can schedule a meet up. Give me a call, send an email or shoot me a messenger post and we will get it scheduled

The first load of Saginaw Bay sails delivered to the North loft in Detroit for winter work.
I will be picking up sails again this Saturday, Oct 30th.
I will be at Bay Harbor Marina Fromm 11 AM till 1 PM.
I will be at Pier 7 Marina from 1:30 PM till 3 PM
Look for the blue GMC truck with the grey enclosed trailer and you will find me.
There is no better way to extend the life of your sails than give them regular maintenance
Be there or be square!
