Annealing the gold helps make it malleable without risking cracking, and since rolling the stock into shape creates work hardening it helps with that too

We ✔️ went to look at a house, shop, and land.

✔️ put in an offer

✔️ offer was accepted and contract signed

✔️ have been rounding up inspectors, surveyors, and lots of paperwork.
