Well , it's been a while.. I have a batch of 25 HollowPro's available in 7 to 10 days.. It's an absolute fire sale over here.. 😆 🤣...
This is a "Daddy needs a new sharpening rig" situation...
Unfortunately I got stuck with a little "tariff inflation" , I got the lasers here before the tariff came into effect but the gantrys and hot rolled steel are all up through the roof.. same with the magnets !
I'll split it with ya.. machine cost went up by $125 in total from about a year ago. Last year was $550 plus shipping, this year its $612.50 plus shipping... lmk..

Alrighty then, update on the Eagle Eye adventure.. My order for CNC gantrys and C-Beam was supposed to be here Saturday ...

Alrighty then, update on the Eagle Eye adventure.. My order for CNC gantrys and C-Beam was supposed to be here Saturday (I payed extra for that !) .. I got an email today saying that it had shipped today.. womp womp womp. Anyhoo looks like it's going to be Thursday or Friday before the first batch takes flight. I took some pics as I progressed through the process. I made templates of everything so every machine will have interchangeable parts etc.. I have my little assembly line in place! Here's a smorgasbord of shots from here and there over the last week, Enjoy .... (if you enjoy that sorta thing 😉 😆)!

The "Eagle Eye" curved rideline machine is completed! Rideline restoration on those pesky curved shears is no longer a guessing game. Accurately restore rideline based on the J and maintain that axis with absolute precision all the way to the tip. Adjustable travel stops limit gantry movements front and rear for clean crisp tips and perfect stop on the bottom of the J. Multiple adjustments on this axis ensure a neutral ride angle. Quick change clamp makes mounting fast and secure. I designed this machine so that the ride faces the user so you can see your work in real time and concentrate on problem areas without dismounting the shear half, you can physically watch the rideline populate as you work. All hardware is stainless steel or zinc coated for a lifetime of use. The heavy duty gantry is manufactured for use in commercial CNC applications designed to see 10s of thousands of cycles at a much higher load than is generated in this application. This is a legacy machine that will provide years of use without maintenance. The diamond embedded "pinkstone" is available in three grit sizes 1k 2k 3k , so Knicks and dings can be quickly removed and then progress back to that shiny burnished finish is easy.
