here i am to tell you that you are beautiful. with the glam, without the glam. just the way you are— the way God made you. yesterday I woke up with breakouts all over my face. the worst my skin has ever been. I was discouraged and felt less than. I even thought about texting Brittany and telling her she needed to find a different “model” — one without breakouts and frizzy hair. I wasn’t perfect and I looked far from it. but I went anyway. dolled me up and magically erased the breakouts with her makeup magic. she told me my natural curls were awesome and she wanted them to stay that way for the pictures. the makeup and pictures made me feel better but really it was after I took the makeup off last night that I realized the skin I’m in is just as beautiful. and so is yours. it’s what protects you and is with you everyday. makeup enhances the beauty that is already there. sometimes it takes some glam to realize that who you are is exactly who you were created to be — pimples, frizz & all. it’s not about being the perfect model. You are so special and beautiful and MODELED after the Creator. Created in God’s image to do good works && you can do that and fulfill your purpose with breakouts and crazy hair. your make up is more than foundation & blush, you were made up in God’s own image and are highly favored!!

let’s consider this a “HEY I’M STILL HERE” and still so excited to work with you for your wedding!!

these past few months have been crazy for me. I’m in my first semester of college and honestly just trying to figure out how to navigate school, life, and business. It’s been difficult && even though I have not been posting, I’ve been cranking out signs!!

on another note—
is amazing. She creates dreamy wedding days and does it so seamlessly! I had the pleasure of working with for her wedding and it was the most stunning!!

In sickness and in health. Literally!!

Tayana tested positive for the nasty C sickness 2 weeks before her wedding day last year.

You heard that right. TWO WEEKS. Imagine. I would be a ball of tears and stress and all the horrible emotions.

BUT she and Tyler were up for the challenge; they said rona you just watch and see. Instead of having their beautiful, fully planned wedding, they got married at the courthouse surrounded by their most favorite people.

They didn’t settle; they adapted. AND because of their positive outlook and determination to get married anyways, they get 2 wedding celebrations. 2 horrible weeks turned into 2 wonderful celebrations!!!

Their love is real and raw and beautiful. I’m so happy they get to celebrate big with ALL of their people in a few months!

Tayana and Tyler’s forever story started with in sickness and in health being put to the test, but it proves that love isn’t about the wedding, it’s about the marriage and the strength to make it work even in the struggles.

Inspired by their story and touched by Tayana’s beautiful smile!
