ohn “Jay” S. Hannahan, 76, of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at home. He was born in Deerlodge, Tennessee to the late John and Amanda Hannahan. John is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nyla Rae Hannahan; sons, James (Kathy) Hannahan and Jeff (Diana) Hannahan; grandchildren, Matt (Keighly) Hannahan, Staff Sargent Kyle Hannahan, US Army, and Jordan (Hali) Hannahan; step-grandson, L.A. (Jenna) Theil; 3 great granddaughter, 1 step- great grandson, and 2 step-great granddaughters; as well as his brother, Eric (Kim) Hannahan. ADAMS, Roy G., “ol’ Roy G”, of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021. Roy was born on September 1, 1927 to Ben and Ida Caldwell Adams in Salyersville, Kentucky. Roy spent some time in Wenatchee, Washington, when his family moved there to work in the apple orchards. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his spouse of 67 years, Edith Williams Adams; brother, Jim Adams and sister, Dora Fletcher; nephews, Jerry Adams and Freddy Fletcher.

MOHLER, Glenn Irvin

Glenn Irvin Mohler of Brookville, Ohio, son of Earl and Esther (Layman) Mohler, was born on July 23, 1935, in Hartville, OH. He peacefully passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 86 years and 11 days. He was married to Janette (Long) on April 15, 1956. Preceding him in death were his parents, 2 brothers, Dwight (Marilee), Dwayne (Donna), and brother-in-law Daniel Brunk. Glenn is survived by his wife, brothers Merlin (Esther), Ronald (Nancy), and sister Marie Brunk. Also 4 sons, Marlan (Audrey), Stanley (Yvonne), Randall (Kristy), and Galen

(Karen), along with 19 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, August 8, 1:30-5:00 pm and 5:30-8:00 pm at the Wolf Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Brookville, Ohio. Funeral service will be at the same location on Monday, August 9 at 10:00 am.

ROGERS, Herbert L. 88, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away June 26, 2020. He was born June 17, 1932, in Houckville, KY, the son of Forest and Elta Rogers. Herb was a member of the Stillwater Masonic Lodge #616 F&AM, Valley of Dayton Scottish Rite, American Legion Post 342, VFW Post #4289, Eastern Star 570, DP&L Retirees, & The Kentucky Colonel's. He joined the Lake Region Baptist Church & was a dedicated fundraiser for The Shriner's Hospitals for Children. He was Manager of Fraud & Theft at DP&L, owned his Electrical Service Company in Xenia, OH, & the President/Owner of The Dundee-Haines City Funeral Home in Dundee, FL. He served in the 73rd Army Tank Batallion in Korea. Survived by his son, Herbert L. Rogers, Jr. "JR"; step-son, Terry (Jeri) Eaton; step-daughter, Barbara Schoenecke; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; & 3 sisters, Mable, Lula Mae, & Francis. Preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Maribess; his daughter, Teresa Chessman; 1 sister & 3 brothers. Visitation will be held on July 8 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH, from 12 pm to 1 pm with service beginning at 1 pm.
