I’ve been really struggling with what to say, how to say it, and also if I even wanted to share anything at all - but with my busy season and yearly holiday drops right upon us, I felt like I couldn’t just disappear, I love and respect all my loyal customers and friends too much to do that.
So you’re probably asking, then why are you closing right before the holiday rush?!
This wasn’t in my plans for 2025, but it’s what I need to do for my husband and my family at this time. A couple weeks ago, Sept 10th to be exact, my husband went in for what was to be a routine procedure to check on a problem he was having, but the feedback we received from his doctor shocked us to our core. Cancer. Something you never think you’re going to hear and then when you do, your whole world goes silent. The final diagnosis is, Stage 3 Gastroesophageal Junction (GEJ) Cancer. Thankfully they have recently (just this year) released some really great treatment plans for this type of cancer and the treatment plan and outlook is strong.
Our family has seen first hand power of prayer and having a community rally around you during hard and trying times when our youngest son got hurt a few years ago, so I ask you all to please pray for strength and healing for my husband.
