Our protectors are able to carry a lifetime warranty because I make my flat stock myself, I know that every plate I make has 5 layers of glass laid up right. The process starts with a Black Gel coat followed up with 2 layers of fiberglass cloth, then a layer of woven glass in the center and 2 more layers of cloth finished off with a top coat of Black Gel coat. The protectors don't just protect the
CV joint, they will also fix the sag you get in the rear plastic arms of the 5 over time, so if you already have the sag you can heat the arm and straighten it then put the protector on with 3 extra screws into the gussets and I use a bead of shoo goo also before attaching and the sag will be gone. For newer trucks you can prevent the sag simply by adding a single screw in the center of the arm during installation and you'll never have a sag issue. The protectors install in minutes, they attach to the hub carrier bolt and to the sway bar screw point. I sell the hardware kit but most guys have screws so time has proven that most guys just buy the protectors. I do like to use a flange lock nut but a washer will do the same thing. My design and shape of my protector is not a copy of any other protector out there, but lately I've been seeing companies starting to follow what I did. I have the pictures and videos on Photo Bucket and You Tube that shows the time frame that my protectors were designed so I know I'm no copy. My pricing is very affordable, 20 bucks for the stock and 23 for the extended. 8 bucks for S&H to the States Priority Mail. 20 bucks to Canada, that's what it cost me. Bottom line is this is a part you'll never have to replace, you may get nicks in it but those are big rocks that didn't hit your truck or get jammed between you shaft and arm. If you are the first one to break one it's easy enough to replace, send it back to me and I send you a new one. If it were to happen I want to see the protector but I'll cross ship to save time. I'm not worried about it.
