On April 6th, the Locksmith Industry suffered a terrible loss. Our friend and colleague Patrick J. O'Leary Sr. (aka "Paddy O") passed away at the age of 79.

Pat worked with us for many years as well as with US Lock.
He was a respected industry professional and we all will miss seeing him at trade shows and his wonderful smile.

We not only grieve at the passing of a tremendous individual but also for the loss his family suffers.

Today we mourn the passing of Gale Johnson, Editor of the Locksmith Ledger for so many years. Gale and I had the same philosophy on retail locksmith shops and we spoke at length many times at various trade shows. He will be missed.

Longtime locksmith magazine editor Gale Johnson lived a life of vision.
