Sometimes people wonder why an estimate is an estimate, it’s because we don’t have X-ray vision to see what’s behind a wall. Removing the vinyl siding the protective sheathing to see the water damage to the plywood is only part of the issue and what needs to be done before repairs can be made. Most times it’s worse than people think.

Life lesson learned today:
A year or so ago I payed a guy to tint the windows on my vehicle and he charged me a fair price, I decided to google the cost of material for tinting and I felt swindled, fast forward to today when I decided to buy window tint and install it myself 😔 obviously a DIYer mistake because I have no clue what I’m doing, I don’t know how to use the material and no YouTube video can help with wind, heat and sweat in my eyes or anything else. So I say I’m defeated wasted Material and time. The tint guy didn’t charge me for the material he charged me for his knowledge and his time. What took him 40 minutes maybe an hour would have taken me atleast 2 or 3 hours and id of done it wrong anyway 😂. So here’s the proof of my mistake I didn’t spend much time or money on this mistake but it definitely knocks this handyman on his ass 🤣. Remember you’re not paying for how long it takes, it’s what the person knows that counts their experience is priceless.
