1 MILLION VIEWS ON INSTAGRAM!!!
I had no idea the video would detonate across the internet like a fireball in an action movie. One second it was quiet… the next, BOOM — a million people watching the sky light up.

Meanwhile, my teenage daughter remains completely unfazed… as if a million people hitting “play” is just another stunt.

And to all the commenters shouting “AI!” from the rooftops — trust me, if it was fake, we wouldn’t still be searching for the 14 gallons of gas that mysteriously vanished from the blast zone.

Doing the fall tour of pumpkin chucking at five schools across the area! 🎃💨 The kids go absolutely wild when they see a pumpkin fly the length of a football field. It’s definitely the highlight of their day. And I can only imagine their parents later that day…
“Wait, you saw what fly across the football field at school today?!” 😂

Sometimes the best adventures start on a whim. Yesterday, we packed up and headed to Louisville after getting the call to chuck for ESPN. 🎥📺 The event, hosted by Purdue University, wasn’t about distance this time — it was all about accuracy. The goal: land a pumpkin as close to 300 feet as possible.

That might sound simple, but when your trebuchet is built to launch over 900 feet, it’s like asking a race car to tiptoe through a school zone. After a few tense adjustments and careful tuning, we sent one flying — and it landed just 15 feet short of perfect.

Not bad for a spur-of-the-moment trip and a machine that usually lives for full power.

Epic day of chuckin pumpkins. We threw 600, 730, 908, and 980 feet!

The Pumpkin Trucker delivered again today — and CHUCKED a pumpkin 980 feet! 🎃💥

We had some great friends stop by and a bunch of new faces who made the trip to see it in person. This video shows our first throw (and honestly our worst one) — a 600-foot line drive that never got more than 50 feet off the ground… but still flew the distance of two football fields. 🤯

Every throw’s a little different, but the power never gets old!

We hit the local TV station today to share the excitement of pumpkin chucking! 🎃💪 It’s not every day you get to talk about launching pumpkins hundreds of feet through the air — can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve been building and get fired up for the big throws!

Have you ever seen a pumpkin fly almost 1,000 feet in 6.3 seconds?
