I want to take some time here to thank you each and every single one of you that have lend a hand out to help us with these kittens and what is next to come! this will be a long post so hold on tight guys!
When i decided to take this on i was not sure what i was stepping into, but i knew that i wanted to give back to the kitty community. I did not decide to join an organization even knowing that this would be coming out of my pocket cost wise because i wanted to do it my way, i want to personally make sure that these kitties are going to a loving home that will provide as much love as i give my own three kitties at home! I knew there were always the possibility that i would do it alone and i was perfectly fine with that so It brings me to tears to see how many people in our community wants to help these babies in need and help with finding a loving home! I am not sure exactly who donated each item as some came without a name so i will thank you each one anonymously.
FOOD-I want to thank you for donating food for the kitties as this will not only feed the 4( now 3) here but many to come as we are currently trying to rescue over 20cats from a farm where they have been abandoned
LITTER -i want to thank you for donating litter for the kitties as the litter box is changed almost every 3 hours to keep the area clean and safe as these kitties are young and is still learning so you can only imagine how much litter we go through
BLANKETS- I want to thank you for donating blankets as i use them to comfort the kitties as it reminds them of mom. I also use them to cover their tent area so it does get covered by feeces and p*e from learning kitties daily and having multiple sets really saves me a lot of time with cleaning them! These are also used when inspecting a new kitty to clip there nails, check their eyes , ears and deworm them so they also protect us from being scratched or bitten by a scared kitty
FLEA AND TICK TREATMENT- I want to thank you for donating flea and tick treatment as this is such a key thing to do when bringing them in if they have fleas or ticks to protect not only the other kitties by both myself and my personal pets.
TOYS - I want to thank you for donating toys for the kitties as they are young and was born in the wild so itβs so important for them to have things to stimulate them as they are in a new smaller environment. These are also such important tools for me to socialize them as i try to get all of them to be snuggly, playful ,loving and ready to go home to their new family.
SHAMPOO- I want to thank you for donating pet shampoo as i mentioned they are still learning to use the litter box so there is definitely days where i would be washing p**p butts 3+ times a day.
and last but not least β¦.
INQUIRIES ON REHOMING - I want to thank you so much for the people that have reached out on rehoming! This is the greatest gift you can give to both them and myself included! i canβt express how happy i am to find a loving home for them!
IF YOU ARE STILL LOOKING TO DONATE:
Here is some updates on what we still could use some help on ( donβt forget just sharing is helping us as well!)
-blankets- we use these for capturing, grooming, lining, kittys bedding, meet and greets for potential adopters and so much more, If you would like to donate blankets you can go on the amazon link below, you can also donate target gift cards *currently* as they do have $5 blankets which is the perfect size and that is the cheapest i have found for them in comparison to amazon.
-traps- we are currently trying. to rescue over 20 cats from a farm up north and we currently have 6 traps. the more traps the more we can catch at a time. My goal is to catch the grown up kitties as well to TNR them at a voluntary farm where they will live out their lives on big land where the owners will feed them
-adult food- currently the kitties at the farm are being fed by two other lovely fosters and i will be pitching in as well. The food is coming out of our pockets and the plan would be to feed them til we can catch them all and relocate or rehome them. This will be a long journey so any food will help for them. We feed them wednesdays and sundays if you would like to drop off food
- spay/neuter /vet funds- As most people would already know, spaying and neutering can be quite costly, the cheapest i have been able to find has been $80-$100 per kitty . We would need these funds mostly for the adult TNR cats and also for vet visits if we have any injured or sick kitties. I have a separate bank account to place these funds in.
Thank you again to all that have helped out! i may be taking in a few more kittens this sunday so if you are interested in adopting and saving a kitty please reach out! my info is below
