Manifold Guard

Manifold Guard Gary is looking for a manufacturer to license his patent to bring the Manfold Guard to market. He quickly found work as a Patent Draftsman.

ABOUT GARY:
From a very young age, Gary worked for his father who was a general contractor during summer and whenever he could. For extra money, on the weekends, he played the guitar and the bass at small nightclubs. After graduating High School, he joined the Air Force in 1968 at the height of Vietnam. He was very fortunate in his entire Air Force class that he was the only one that did not get s

ent to Vietnam for the simple fact that he was only person married in his class. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force Gary made his way to the DFW for work. In 1977, even though he enjoyed being a Patent Draftsman, a friend suggested he start his own construction business utilizing his construction and drafting skills. Up until the late 1990s, as a general contractor, Gary performed almost all the construction for his jobs (pouring foundations, framing, roofing, sheetrock, building custom cabinets, trim carpentry, and painting himself) with the help of his crew. Gary’s company (Irving Trend Builders and Trend Security Screens) still does the same work but utilizes more subcontractors than in the past. WHAT LED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MANIFOLD GUARD? When new home concrete foundations and concrete foundations for additions are set up, on many projects Gary has had problems with the plumbing lines being damaged or getting knocked out of place when the concrete is poured, especially with PEX water lines. When this happens, the job is slowed down to repair or move the plumbing lines into the proper place. The Manifold guard is designed to maintain the position of the plumbing lines. The concrete layers power trowel will have a difficult time damaging the plumbing lines since they are sleaved in metal tubes and the Manifold guard is staked in place with metal rods making extremely difficult to knock the plumbing lines out of position. Additionally, you will not have to worry about nails penetrating the plumbing line by the sheet rock installer, the trim carpenter installer, and even the siding installer’s nails would not penetrate the Manifold Guard’s steel tubs since the Manifold Guard is made from the same gauge steel that is used to make standard nail-guards. Moreover, the Manifold Guard can be used to protect line-voltage electric lines, low-voltage electrical lines for a heated floor, and water lines on a heated floor. GARY'S GOAL:
Gary’s goal is to license the manufacturing rights for this product. Feel free to contact him with any questions or thoughts through his page or you may contact him on his cell (214-908-7260).
