Whether used on the job or for the personal security of yourself and your loved ones, thank you to all of our customers that have trusted DCC to keep your tools close. Our fire is a result of being a forever student in the training industry since 2006 and noticing recurring problems with student gear. After a long journey, we were able to introduce our product lineup in 2018 after creating a robust solution. Seven years later and backed by world class customer service, our products have set the gold standard which has been forged in the industry, but as problem solvers we are always improving existing products and there are some remaining segments of the industry that we have not yet focused on to create much needed solutions.⠀

We are now two years up and running as a well oiled unit in our forever home of East TN. From the moment we landed we began to grow our team and their stellar performance has given us the opportunity to open up development projects once again. ⠀
⠀
First project across the finish line is the lineup of 𝟏 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬 and will be available on July 3 as a compliment to our premium lineup of 𝐇𝐋𝐑 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬®. The result will be holsters and other gear that are normally considered “entry level” receiving the immediate benefit of our technology to be safer and more secure and ultimately more capable. ⠀

Manufactured entirely in the USA utilizing a condensed version of our proprietary HLR tension setting technology. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Low profile and sticks out less than the belt loops on your pants, unlike plastic. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Both lineups are interchangeable with each other resulting in an identical ride height and fit. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Machined radius on the sides of the part. 90° angles are a cut hazard. This not only reduces 90° angles, but in the world of stacking tolerances this helps to create a stronger longer lasting part⠀⠀⠀⠀

Available in both standard version that can be angled 8° in other direction and the universal/adjustable ride height version.⠀⠀⠀⠀

Multiple configurations the Mod W will be available. ETA will be early Sept 2025⠀⠀⠀⠀

Development on low profile parts used on the pocket and in behind the belt applications is in the final stretch. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟏 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐩:⠀⠀⠀⠀

The standard version that can be angled 8° in either direction has been expanded to fit existing mounting hole configurations that are .500” - .625”. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Features an irregular shaped contact area on the inside to provide more surface area and therefore more grip⠀⠀⠀⠀

And the big one. We will touch on this more in depth in a future post. Will be available in two different performance levels. The entry level 1 Series which will become the minimal acceptable standard for bottom mounted attachments at the same price point of stale and bulky plastic variants as well as a premium 1 Series HLR heavy clamping force version. We will use our HLR technology to put these into Hulk mode to allow them to grip like a vise. ⠀

⁣Tired of seeing a holster you want to buy that only comes with low performing entry level attachments that only end up being a placeholder until you upgrade to our HLR Clips? There are dozens of substandard polymer and metal clips still being used by manufacturers solely because of the low cost, but what if an “entry-level” belt clip came along from a company with a proven and trusted reputation where no detail was overlooked. The 1Series lineup of holster attachments actively squeeze to provide excellent reliability and performance while maintaining a low profile and providing an incredible value to gear manufacturers and ultimately their end users. ⠀

One of the first clues you have a premium quality part the moment you have one in hand is because of the subtle radius machined into the sides of every HLR Gear Clip that creates an edge that is completely rounded over and free of 90° edges which are cut hazards and wear points. While costly to implement, removing that variable is very important and a requirement of many of our customers. In a world of stacking tolerances, this also contributes to a stronger and longer lasting part.

The Monoblock Gear Clip in 1.75” available 5/28. ⠀

Why is the split leg configuration on our Monoblock Gear Clip a key attribute to the performance of a top mounted attachment?⠀
⠀
• Longevity. Achieving the fine balance of rigidity and ductility on a holster attachment directly impacts the lifespan of the holster in the area that top mount attachments are connected to the holster body. An attachment that is too rigid creates repeated flexing of the holster every time the clip is lifted which leads to fatigue and ultimately failure in the long run. Dual legs greatly reduce that failure mode. ⠀
⠀
• Redundancy. Two is one, one is none. If one leg ever sees its limits the other leg will be standing by. This is now time tested and proven over the past five years during regular use, force on force and combatives training. ⠀
⠀
• Retention. The ability of the Monoblock Gear Clip to conform to both the waistline and the face of the holster. The outward facing profile of the holster is not flat. Your waistline is not flat. Having one wide attachment only has one small point of contact. Dual legs have much more contact area to maximize retention. ⠀⠀
⠀
• Concealment. As the width of a single leg of an attachment begins to approach 1”, the clip no longer conforms to the waistline. The ability of the Monoblock dual leg configuration to stay flat on your person has no equal. ⠀
⠀
• Strength. One of our internal tests is a 90° rotational stress which replicates an extreme life or death weapons retention situation. in that situation something has to give. In this case it is either the holster body or the attachment. This is not a friendly test for wider attachments with one solid face. The dual split leg configuration has the ability to flex enough under extreme stress that the legs deform while still holding on

It’s good to close the book successfully on a high level project. Not only does leveling up happen, but time becomes available to focus on checking the box on what’s next. Some projects were 80% done before they were shelved to focus on other things. Time to circle back on some projects that have been in the queue for a long time and bring them across the finish line.⠀

⁣DCC is now 3 1/2 years into our journey. Back when this was just a vision, I could have only dreamed that 10 years from now we would be where we are today. ⠀⠀

Word of mouth and 100% organic growth has been our driver. We do not buy compliments. We do zero marketing. When you hear something good about us it is because someone believes in us and our products. Our marketing plan is to let the product performance speak for itself. ⠀⠀

Quick NPD update: Aside from the 1.75 Monoblock and the lineup of flashlight clips (both 80% complete), all new product development was shelved allowing us to focus on successfully scaling manufacturing capabilities to help meet the demand we saw in 2021 and for many years to come. ⠀⠀

⁣We continue to move forward on what might be one of our featured industry interruptions for 2021. This has been a long term project (started early 2019), but this week we saw very positive results on a batch of parts that were recently heat treated. ⠀
