The floral items have moved to a room in my barn. Thank you to Brandy & her family for moving items and reorganizing things in the loan closet shed. We’ll get the floral room more organized soon. Borrowers will need to look in both locations and return items to the appropriate building. Shelves in the shed are labeled, to help you find items and to return them there. 😊

I did want to update the borrowers about a change in “policy”. I used to give “1st dibs” to whoever made the first RSVP for a weekend. It has become challenging when the first borrower delays making their selections or sometimes is a no-show. That leaves the other borrower(s) in limbo.

I have had such great borrowers! They can usually work around each other’s requests. So, I will still limit reservations to 2 big events on any given weekend, but allow whoever comes first to list their items. This will let them know that those items should be available for them, and help them plan for their event.

As always, if other small requests come in, Brandy or I will check with the primary borrowers to make sure they don’t plan to use the items being requested.

We are blessed to be a blessing, and are grateful for the donors and helpers who have made this ministry possible! ❤️

I noticed that Our Own Candle Company, in Findley Lake, has some Valentine decor that may work for weddings. Always good prices! They also make and sell affordable candles. Due to a recent donation, there are now 22 black tablecloths (believed to be rectangular) available for loan, plus other items. Thank you! And thank you to ALL who have “paid it forward” to bless others. Not only brides, but also non-profit events, school proms, families hosting parties, etc, have benefited from your generosity. 💝

I will be on a mission trip 10/28-11/4. I will not have cellular service. I will respond to new messages when I return. Those who already have RSVPs are welcome to visit the loan closet anytime. (My husband will be home but is not typically involved with the loan closet.) I will leave the phone number of my “VIP”, Brandy, with the RSVP book. She can likely answer your questions about where something is located inside the new shed, if you need help. 😊
