After 34+ incredible years with American International Forest Products (AIFP)—first as a top trader and then as President—John Vranizan is retiring from his role. John’s leadership, market expertise, and dedication have been instrumental to AIFP’s success. His impact extends far beyond trading, having shaped the careers of countless rookie traders and expanded AIFP into new markets. Fortunately, John isn’t going far—he will continue in an advisory role for AIFP and FCTG.

As we celebrate John’s career, we are also excited to announce that Chris Vaughan will step into the role of President at AIFP, effective October 21, 2024. Chris, who has successfully led Affiliated Resources (AR), brings dynamic leadership and a strategic vision that will guide both AIFP and AR into the future. While both companies will continue to trade independently, they’ll streamline and combine operations to enhance service and efficiency.
