Looking to build a home server but unsure where to start? Let us help.

I have attached the specifications I used to configure the home server below. The total comes out to be about $2505. The good news is that your home server can double as a gaming computer or workstation while only taking a slight performance hit.

This isn't as seamless as some of the other options, and I'm still working out how to automatically sign into the services without configuring OpenID within the application itself. The idea is to hide behind OAuth2-Proxy and Nginx, which are known to be secure, instead of trusting individual apps with security.

Learn how to set up OAuth2-Proxy with Keycloak in a NginxReverseProxy instance for a domain. It's actually really easy and only took under 2 hours! Follow this guide to set up in less.
