We had an awesome Sunday playing in the shop with our new friend, Adlai! We fired up the coal forge and worked on the process of making Damascus. Thanks for the really fun and educational afternoon!! Can’t wait to meet up again ⚒️ Shout out to Texas Knife Steel for the materials!

We recently had an exciting visit from Mark Krause, the Hammer Whisperer! He did a once over on our trio of hammers and made some modifications that we plan to present to the factory. Adjusting the valving and pressurizing the oiler were some of the most impactful changes. We learned so much and are proud to be working toward offering the best hammers we can! We look forward to collaborating with Mark in the future and can’t thank him enough for the insight and time he spent with us! Two of these 25kg hammers are ready for a new home!

If you had to choose two hammer dies, aside from flat dies, what would you choose for your new power hammer? We currently include a drawing and blade bevel die by default with our Rowdai hammers, but would love to hear your opinions. Die selection pics below. Curious what dies are most versatile to each facet of metal working, since they all have individual needs, so would love to hear what you specialize in and what you would like to see included and why.

After installing, making minor upgrades and dialing in our first of three power hammers, we were finally able to test with hot steel today! Man, this machine has a lot power coupled with surprising finesse and ease of control! The other two hammers are being inspected and tested now and will be ready for sale very soon. We also plan on making another order in the near future, so please reach out if interested!

What an exciting day!! Our first order of power hammers finally arrived!! Next steps are setting everything up and doing some testing/inspecting to make sure they’re all in working order. Please like our page for updates and to follow us as we grow.
