As this year draws to a close, we stand at the edge of the firelight and look back on the road behind us.
This was a year of markets and festivals—of setting up banners, shaking hands, telling our story face to face, and watching Heimdall Equipment step out of the forge and into the world. Every booth, every conversation, every late night packing gear reminded us that this brand is built by people who believe in it.
It was also a year of trials. The Valkyrie Link was tested, reworked, tested again, and pushed harder than ever. We learned where it held strong—and where it demanded more from us. Those lessons carried us into our first pitch competition, where we stood before others and defended not just a product, but a mission. We didn’t walk away unscarred—but no warrior ever does.
This year also brought loss.
Dail—the little Viking dachshund who became our symbol of defiance, resilience, and second chances—finished his fight. He came to us a senior rescue, fought longer than anyone expected, and left behind a legacy far bigger than his size. His spirit is woven permanently into this brand and into our growing commitment to animal rescue and protecting those who cannot protect themselves.
As we look ahead, we do so wiser and stronger. We’ve brought in new expertise to refine the Valkyrie Link. We’re improving the gear you already trust. We’re adding new offerings like the Poor Planning Patch. And we’re forging closer bonds with first responder and animal-rescue organizations who stand the watch beside us.
The year tested us—but it did not break us.
We sharpen the blade.
We raise the shield wall.
And we step into the next chapter together.
