Spent the morning making preparations for the move tomorrow. Media will be at the barge this afternoon for a few hours. I'm glad I won't be there during all of that. Tomorrow's media coverage - ugh. I'll be walking almost 7 miles with the payload to the test facility. I hope no one gets a close up of me.

This engine section structural test article for NASA's Space Launch System is being prepared to be shipped on the barge Pegasus from Michoud Assembly Facility to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Once it arrives at Marshall Center it will undergo structural testing.

The engine section will house four RS-25 engines and power the core stage of , the world’s most powerful rocket.

We're halfway done with our move. Boeing is having a media event this Tuesday before we load Pegasus. I'll be gone for 1 more week, and then things can return to a quasi-steady state.🤓

So some of you may know that I waited until the last minute to finish my taxes. 😿 However, my shop is still closed, because of my day job. I can't really share specifics, but I can show you guys officially released information from NASA about some of cool stuff we're working on. I'll try to get photos, if they'll let me. I'm not down with getting my phone confiscated though.

Hey folks! Just a heads up. I'm going out of town for a business trip. The Soap Gourmet has a day job in addition to soaping - gotta pay the bills ya'll. I don't know if anyone even reads my page, lol, but I'll post a few pictures when I can as well as the really neat stuff if I get permission. Back to soap - I'll have all orders mailed by tomorrow morning before I head out, and I'll be back this Friday.
