Just in! An incredible (not a reissue) 1965 Fender Jazz Bass in Custom Color Black Refin. Neck stamp reads 7 MAY 65. Serial L72### on its original L-plate, and despite sitting right at the CBS transition, this one kept every appointment that matters.

Real tortoise shell celluloid pickguard. Dark Brazilian rosewood fretboard. Pearl dot inlays. Original bridge, tuners, bone nut. Pots and pickups both dated ‘65. Zero extra routes. Zero mods. Body was refinished in black decades ago, aged honestly, consistent with the neck, which still wears its original finish.

The neck is to die for. 1.49” nut · 7.25” radius · 0.76” at 1st · 0.97” at 12th. Original frets with good life left.

Original black tolex case, all latches working.
