At Len-Tex Wallcoverings, sustainability isn’t just a commitment, it’s a practice we uphold every day. As we reflect on the past year, we’re proud to share the milestones we’ve achieved in recycling, waste reduction, and circular manufacturing. Through these processes we’ve successfully diverted a significant volume of materials from landfills. Our partnership with local businesses and organizations has helped us keep valuable resources in circulation and reduce our environmental impact. Our office paper is recycled locally through Walpole Recycling, our unusable pallets are returned to Ed Higley/Maple Farms and all our scrap metal is recycled by our on-site maintenance team! Here are a few of our 2025 Landfill Diversion Highlights showing just how much we’ve been able to together in this past year. Our recycling program was able to divert all of these materials from landfills; Supported Vinyl: 344,305 lbs, Unsupported Vinyl: 79,800 lbs, Wastewater: 211,371 lbs, IBC Totes: 32,480 lbs (equivalent to 4 full truckloads), Other Mixed Materials: 138,455 lbs (equivalent to 15 truckloads) Totaling over Over 806,411 lbs. Together, these efforts represent hundreds of thousands of pounds of material redirected away from landfills and into responsible recycling or reprocessing streams. We also expanded our participation in the EPA SmartWay® Transport Partnership, further reducing our carbon footprint through improved measuring, benchmarking, and freight transportation efficiency. This collective impact directly contributes to a healthier environment, stronger circular manufacturing practices, and continued progress toward cleaner, more sustainable interior spaces.
