Keeping Wisconsin residents safe!

The purpose of the WCPPA is to establish and support a permanent network of Crime Prevention Practitioners who will provide leadership, foster cooperation, encourage information exchange and seek involvement from all segments of society to extend and improve crime prevention participation through the development of programs throughout Wisconsin. To accomplish this mission, the goal of the WCPPA is to promote crime prevention methods and techniques designed to reduce criminal opportunity and victimization.

OCPA in Wisconsin and Michigan! President Brian White, Treasurer Ken Scheuerman, and Past President John DiPietro have been working with our sister organizations, the WCPPA - Wisconsin Crime Prevention Practitioners Association (WCPPA) and the Crime Prevention Association of Michigan (CPAM), to build and strengthen relationships, share best practices, and explore ways to enhance our outreach and training offerings in Ohio. We’re incredibly grateful for the warm hospitality WCPPA and CPAM have shown us over the past two weeks. We’re excited to share more about our meetings soon!

A heartfelt thanks to the father-son duo at BenShot Glassware for their special edition, 1 of 1 creation for Ret. Lt. Brian Murphy. This glass is representative of the number of rounds Ret. Lt. Murphy endured as he was the first officer on scene of the Sikh Temple Shooting in 2012. No amount of gratitude is sufficient for his act of valor and bravery, but that certainly will not stop us from trying. 🙏
