A LinkedIn post earned our first out-of-state
utility project. It’s an odd one, but I love it.

I made a post in July saying I wanted to do
more projects with utility companies and a utility company VP saw it.

He reached out, connected me with their
President, and we decided to start working together.

The project is grease trap inspections.
It’s a one-off type project that isn’t typical for them.
And finding specialized providers can be tough.

It would take them time and effort to find a
reliable vendor and understand the regulations.

Their employees already have a full plate, and
grease traps aren’t on it.

But we make the process easy.

We know environmental regulations, and we’ve
conducted many project inspections.

The biggest hurdle wasn’t the project itself.

At this point, after years of experience in the old
gas whatever type of project you throw at me, I’m on it.

The biggest hurdle was making sure Proshare
was properly registered in Virginia. But we figured it out.

We met with the utility company to plan how
to inspect the 22 grease traps on their list.

We made a plan and cost estimate.

We'll visit each site and check the grease traps.
We'll write a report with what we found.
If there are next steps, we include those too.

All they had to do was ask, and we took care of it.

I’m excited to see Proshare expanding beyond
Pennsylvania, and I can’t wait to serve more
utility companies in the future.

The story of Proshare Services starts with my
Nonno, $100, and a wheel of cheese.

My Nonno was just 19 when he left Italy on a boat.
He didn’t speak a word of English.

He had family living in Pennsylvania, and like
everyone else in the area, they worked in the coal mines.

So, he delivered the wheel of cheese and got a job.

He worked hard to build a life for generations to come.

Thanks to him, I was born into the energy industry.
I don’t work with coal very often.
But, I’m an expert in the oil and gas industry.

Hundreds of feet above the coal mines, I led
teams to overhaul compressor stations.

The coal my Nonno mined heated his neighbors’ homes.
The gas flowing through the stations we installed
heats my neighbors’ homes…and maybe yours.

Today, I’m using skills from the oil and gas
industry and applying them to next-generation solar energy.

Thanks to my Nonno, $100, a wheel of cheese,
and the coal industry, I get to do the work I love.

He built opportunities from the underground up.
And I’m proud to carry on his legacy.

Who are you creating future opportunities today for?

My grandad’s stories about his work at the old
mines shaped how I look at safety in my own business.

My grandad worked in deep mines in Revloc.
Unless you’re from here, you haven’t heard of it.
It’s a small, coal mining town in Pennsylvania.

He was good at his job.
But it came with risks.
Safety wasn’t top of mind back then.

I didn’t really understand the risk until one summer.

He took me to the Revloc Centennial Festival,
and we stumbled on old news articles from that time.

He saw the obituaries from the miners who were killed.
He remembered them all.

I heard the stories of these men who died in the mines.

These men were his friends, fathers, and husbands.

The stories my Granddad told are the reason
why I care so much about the people I work with.

Every time I execute a project, my top priority is
making sure the people on my team get home safely.

Safety IS always top of mind for me.

No risks. No excuses. We don’t live in the past.

What is number one priority in your business?
