When my friend, Donna, asked me to make a headstall for her friend, who will be celebrating an 80th birthday, my mind fluttered with excitement. You see, Donna’s friend is a 7X NFR Qualifier, a 2009 inductee into the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame, and has won many Futurities. Her name? Kay Young.

It has been my honor to create this for Donna to give to Kay. I hope it reminds them of the greatness of the friendship they have given to each other and also to so many others around them.
