It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Glenn McCoy this past week. He passed peacefully, surrounded by family.
Glenn holds a special place in the history of Fleetwood. Simply put, none of us would be working at Fleetwood today if it were not for him. He was part of Fleetwood from its earliest days in the 1960s. For more than five decades, he devoted his energy, leadership, and vision to helping shape the company into what it is today. His influence can be seen not only in the business he helped build, but also in the culture and values that continue to guide us.
Many of you had the privilege of knowing Glenn personally and experienced firsthand his passion for Fleetwood and the people who made it successful. He believed deeply in the company, cared genuinely about its employees, and took great pride in the work that was done here. While his accomplishments were many, those who knew him best will remember his integrity, generosity, and, most of all, his joy. Of course, that joy occasionally had a mischievous side. He was quite the jokester and prankster. I still laugh at the fact that several people here keep mirrors on their desks because Glenn loved sneaking up and startling them when they least expected it.
Glenn will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. But the legacy he leaves behind, the company he helped build, and the countless memories he created will remain a lasting part of Fleetwood's story.
Thank you all for being a part of the company that meant so much to our grandpa. For those of you who shared a laugh, a meal, a story, or simply a conversation with Glenn over the years, thank you for being a part of his life. Fleetwood was never just a business to him. It was family. We hope you'll join us in honoring his memory by carrying forward the values, relationships, and sense of pride that helped make Fleetwood what it is today.
Sincerely,
Michael Davis, Mason Gumbleton, Lucas Crisanti, and the McCoy family
