A smaller shop doesn’t have to be huge to get brutally hot in the summer.
The first place insulated is the roof deck because it’s a significant difference in maintaining a manageable temperature to finish the rest of the building. 🥵
This Franklin work shed received 2” of closed-cell spray foam on the roof deck and 1.5” on the walls. The result? A stronger building, better moisture control, and a space that will stay dramatically cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter before the OSB ever goes up.
If you’re planning to spend your summer working in a shop instead of surviving one, let’s build an environment you’ll actually enjoy being in. 😊
