Hunter's Moon 🌕
October's full moon, peaking Sunday night right here in Phoenix — and it looked nearly full all weekend long.
It's called the Hunter's Moon because it's the first full moon after the Harvest Moon, when the fields are cleared and it's time to stock up for winter.
And that chocolate color? That's the moon sitting low on the horizon, where the air scatters the blue light away and leaves only the warm tones behind.
