As regards your evap tester...
Your tester runs on 0.5psi so any slight leaks will stop it from working correctly...
Supply pressures r 80 & 32... u must use good regulators NOT cheap ones...
We have everything in stock.. we test in our smog shop before selling...

ESP bar97 software update is causing problems when calibrating...
The default button has gone... u have to enter the zero air gas values manually...
All zeros except for oxygen at 20.9...

Phase 3 clean truck update on HD diesel motorhome smog requirements...
Currently, Out of state RV's r not required to get a smog test...
California motorhomes starting in 2024 will require a yearly smog test otherwise dmv renewal will be blocked and be charged an aditional fee..
trucks will require 2 smog tests per year...
out of state trucks being driven in California, will initially get roadside smog tests and must register with California dmv/ard/clean truck program...
There r more rules coming in 2027 relative to zero emission trucks...
Your current dmv renewal will get u started in the program... read it carefully to avoid extra fees...
CHP will be using license plate readers to identify vehicles...
There r 6 other states with clean truck programs....

Both Delphi & Waekon evaps run on 0.5psi.... sooooo any small leak will create problems with testing & calibrating...

Here's a couple of strange problems we have seen...
1. Delphi... A spider web inside the calibration tank, blocking the high/low valve...
2. Waekon... A mouse chewed a tiny hole in the hard plastic tubing...

Never enter the same 4 numbers, 3 times in a 24 hour period... this will trigger a lockout of those numbers... it should clear automatically a day later, but sometimes doesn't...

U can check any car using any 4 numbers using the official test button...
ALL records are purged by your BAR97 during a smog test...

Always turn off your evap tester & gas, when not in use..
Always turn your smog machine off once a week, this gives the software a reboot...
