👣 We show a lot of pools around here.

But Barefoot doesn’t stop at the water’s edge.

Patios. Porches. Walkways. Outdoor kitchens. Landscape applications. Interior spaces.

One material can help carry the design language from one part of a home to another.

Where would you use Barefoot?

👣There’s a person behind every pallet that leaves our warehouse.

Meet Chris.

Chris is our office manager overseeing production logs, facilitating shipments, finding new ways to be more efficient and so much more.

We are fortunate to have people who care about what leaves our shop.

Thanks, Chris.

👣 We are thrilled to see the clubhouse pool at Duckett Pointe is finished! Ch*****ne pavers and wall caps complement the travertine coping and stone siding excellently.

👣 Installation is key. We’re often asked the best way to mortar-set our 1” pavers.

Pavers can be set on a mortar bed, as shown in the first video and photo, making sure pavers are level by lightly tapping with a rubber mallet.

Pavers can also be set with thinset applied with a 1/2” or 3/4” square notch trowel, “buttering” the back of the pavers before laying them on the thinset bed.

Make sure there are no voids in the setting material.

👣 Sometimes you have to get closer.

Texture, subtle variation and small imperfections are part of what gives Barefoot Pavers their natural character.

No two outdoor spades should feel exactly the same.

Neither should every piece within them.

👣 One color. Completely different spaces.

This is Barefoot Pavers in Ch*****ne.

The architecture, surrounding materials, landscaping, sunlight and even the pool finish can change the way the same paver reads from one project to another.

That’s why we always recommend looking at your paving material as part of the entire design palette — not as an isolated selection.

Which is your favorite?

👣 We’re often asked if our pavers should be sealed.

Our answer is yes!

We carry two types of sealer and are happy to help instruct contractors and homeowners on how to apply.

👣 From plans to dirt…

to this.

One of my favorite things about the construction industry is watching individual decisions eventually become a place where people will live, entertain and spend time together.

The paving is only one piece of that process.

But we’re proud when Barefoot Pavers gets to be a part of the finished space.
