Sharing these photos from the 7th Street Bridge Replacement Project in Modesto, CA. Our ready-mix concrete crews are hard at work delivering concrete for the Cast-In-Drilled-Hole (C.I.D.H.) foundations.

These foundations provide superior load transfer by transferring structural weight deep into stable soil strata, helping ensure long-term structural stability. During the slurry displacement process, our concrete is engineered with the ideal density and flowability to be pumped through a tremie pipe to the bottom of the shaft. As the concrete rises, it cleanly displaces the lighter drilling slurry, creating a solid, monolithic column.
