Swamp Rat Is Excited To Introduce Their New "Rat Bite" Folder. Coming TONIGHT To The Busse Combat Website.

This will be a small and limited prototype run.

This Crossbar Lock design brings a number of performance-enhancing design changes to the table.

First up is the Swamp's use of Stainless Steel compression springs that are deployed to greatly outlast Omega-style springs.

Second up is a much stronger Crossbar. Typical* Crossbar locks have a .156" (5/32") diameter crossbar, whereas the Rat Bite Folder features a .1875" (3/16") diameter crossbar, adding a boatload of strength to this awesome mechanism.

Third up is a 25% larger pivot. The Swamp has increased the pivot diameter from the typical* .1875" (3/16") to a full .250" (1/4").

These modifications enhance the performance of this already awesome mechanism, leading to much higher reliability under extreme conditions in the field.

***When we say "Typical" in our comparisons, we are referring to the numerous crossbar locks that we have measured and examined. We are sure that there are exceptions.

Scrap Yard Regulator 14 Coming To The Busse Combat Website On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, At 1:00 PM Eastern!

Here is a rare, killer-cool piece that was designed to take down any predator.

We made these several years ago for a movie that never came to fruition.

This batch was small and made out of SR-101 Steel.

They sport a 14-inch-long blade with an overall length of 19 1/2" and a thickness of .220".

This unusual and uniquely beveled blade offers a boatload of double-edged cutting power, coupled with a reinforced, deep-penetrating tip.

If we somehow return to the Jurassic Period, this will be the piece to have for fighting off the return of the dinosaurs.

These heat-treated and machined blades have been sitting in our warehouse for years and only need final finishing.

Shipping should start within the next few weeks.
