As many of you know, we lost Dr. Rona Shaw in January of this year. Rona was one of my teachers and advisors early in my career and we remained close throughout her life and work at Dominican College, working together in the colleges Teachers of Students Who are Blind or Visually Impaired Graduate Program. To honor her dedication to the field and to the college, she is being considered for a stone on the Wall of Tribute at APH. Her consideration is not because she was my teacher, mentor, advisor and friend, but because she prepared so many educators during her career, and because of her early ventures into online/distance education. She was a giver and a sharer, and I’m sure she touched many people.
