We’re proud to announce our nomination for the Condé Nast House & Garden Product Designer of the Year for 2026.
Studio Kalki and Kalki Ceramics constantly explore the boundaries of what Architectural Ceramic Design can be, looking to create magic from the alchemical process of converting raw earth to bespoke, hand-formed lighting and surfaces.
Over the past year we have developed new products, our favourites among which include the Jali Screen and Chandelier, ombré-glazed handmade tiles and elegant new full-sized pivot door systems.
Our bespoke bar design system has seen implementation across the continent, to great success, while we constantly refine its details and features.
Our iconic Fynbos language has evolved and expanded in scale to incorporate more architectural and natural influences, seeing manifestation in large-scale urban interventions in the form of bespoke murals all over the country.
New glazes, lighting solutions, surface patterns and ceramic designs have been tried, tested, broken, repaired, evolved and improved, and restarted from scratch.
And we wouldn’t have it any way.
