🎒 Back to School, Around the World! 🌍

Our next stop takes us to Pretoria, South Africa 🇿🇦 — and the Future Africa Innovation Campus at the University of Pretoria.

Designed by EarthWorld Architects and installed by ASTRA Group, the campus uses two Palram solutions to bring natural light into different spaces while supporting thermal comfort.

The southern façade features SUNPAL® 18mm Solar Control, creating a distinctive curtain wall system that combines daylight with thermal insulation.

Inside, SUNLITE® multiwall sheets are used for partitions and windows, allowing natural light to flow through the interior spaces while maintaining separation and functionality.

The result is a bright, connected learning environment where architecture, daylight and performance work together. ☀️📚

As a new school year begins, we’re taking a look at educational spaces around the world where smart design helps create better environments for learning.

Our first stop: Derby School in Kansas, USA. 🇺🇸

Designed by SJCF Architecture, the school features SUNGLAZE™ White Opal, Palram’s solid polycarbonate architectural panel system, used for covered walkways and window awnings.

The modular system provides a clean architectural appearance while offering quick installation, minimal maintenance and the strength to withstand high loads. Its design also integrates seamlessly with the school’s existing structure.

A practical solution that brings together protection, durability and architectural design - for spaces built to serve students every day.

💦 Poolside Inspiration from Around the World

This August, we're diving into inspiring pool projects from across the globe - showcasing how PALRAM architectural solutions help create brighter, more comfortable, and more durable pool environments.

For our final stop, we're heading to Terme Jezerčica in Croatia 🇭🇷 - where swimming is about much more than simply taking a dip. 💦

The resort's water park combines relaxation, wellness and family fun, with eight pools filled with natural thermal water. Its indoor water park is open year-round and includes five pools and two large whirlpools, creating an aquatic environment designed to be enjoyed in every season.

Above the indoor pool area, SUNLITE® 35 mm XL creates an expansive skylight that brings natural daylight deep into the space. The translucent polycarbonate roofing helps create a bright, open atmosphere while allowing the colorful waterslides and pools below to take center stage.

The result is a space that feels connected to the outdoors - even when you're swimming inside.

The elegant pool enclosure combines PALSUN® and SUNLITE® polycarbonate solutions to create a bright, welcoming environment filled with natural daylight while providing reliable protection from the elements. The spacious curved structure enhances the feeling of openness, allowing visitors to enjoy the surrounding landscape without compromising on comfort.

Designed to maximize daylight and extend the usability of the pool throughout the year, this project demonstrates how thoughtful architectural solutions can transform a pool into a true hospitality experience.
