The myth of a "Second Server"
Our sales team has reported that some vendor is offering a "Second Server" to rent-a-car companies in Sharjah to monitor their rental cars in addition to the mandatory SecurePath system. It seems this is an additional offering at a small cost. The vendor has informed them that the tracking device they use has "two" SIMs and one SIM works with the SecurePath and the other SIM works with their software. We have confirmed this with the authorities that this is illegal. The SecurePath explicitly prohibits sending the tracking data to a second server.
