Apologies, we published the wrong image with yesterday's post. Saffire-Freycinet in Tasmania is the project in these images, yesterday's image was the Nishi in Canberra. For both projects the Paarhammer Architectural Range of energy-efficient, custom-made windows and doors was used, made in Australia.

Designed by Morris Nunn Architects and built by Fairbrother Pty Ltd, Saffire Freycinet is an iconic development for the Australian Tourism Industry.

Paarhammer made doors for each of the 20 accommodation suites, sliding doors, bi-fold doors and bi-fold window for treatment rooms, including the entrance doors.

The overall outcome is a stunningly beautiful building complex with many sustainable features, sympathetic to the environment and with a minimal footprint.

The 5x4 Hayes Lane Project maximises the use of limited space with no functionality sacrifice and includes an aesthetically grounded contemporary design.

Windows and Doors were very important in the 5x4 build. The building needed everything it could to help it feel spacious, and the expansive windows, sliding door and bi-fold doors add an indoor/outdoor aspect.

In this project we manufactured tilt and turn windows, lift-slide doors, stacker sliders and corner stacker sliders as well as motorised clerestory windows, fixed glass units and doors.

All are double glazed with high performance glazing achieving WERS ratings from 4.5 cooling stars to 7 heating stars with energy savings from 61% to 75%.

They reduce heat loss and improve thermal comfort while maximising daylight transmission.
