Award-winning design, built with Adelaide Hills sandstone

This stunning home by Hocking Constructions took out the HIA CSR South Australian Home of the Year in 2019. The sweeping curved stone wall and the stonework wrapping the whole building were laid by Adelaide Heritage Stonemasonry using our Random Walling.

Natural stone is what ties this home to its Adelaide Hills setting, and the curve shows how much you can do with Random Walling in the hands of a skilled mason.

🎄 9 weeks until Christmas.

Evenings in the garden are about to get a lot better. Natural stone walls, a little garden lighting and a space that’s finished and ready for summer entertaining

This one was completed by JKB Landscaping using Adelaide Hills Sandstone, and it’s a great example of what’s possible when you start early. Stone supply, quoting and installation all take time, so if you want a project like this done before Christmas, now’s the time to get the ball rolling.

Landscape stone, brought indoors

Our Sawn Walling is usually found out in the garden, but Dellatorre Construction has used it for these feature internal walls, and it looks incredible. The same stone carries from the alfresco pillar right through to the living area, and all the natural Adelaide Hills colour comes through, especially with the warm lighting.

A great reminder that Sawn Walling isn’t just for retaining walls and garden beds. It can be the star of the living room too.

Traditional dry stack, done properly

This Carey Gully Random Walling wall by JRM Stonework is laid the old way, stone on stone with no mortar. The natural greys, golds and rusty browns of the stone give it so much character, and it makes a pretty good pedestal for a peacock too!

Dry stacking is a timeless craft, and it’s a great way to show off the colour variation in Carey Gully stone.
