β½ Fuel storage β½
With the ongoing fuel crisis and rising prices, it can be tempting to store extra fuel, but doing so incorrectly can create serious safety risks. Fuel is highly flammable, and even small amounts can create serious fire and health risks if stored incorrectly.
Here are some tips to keep your workplace safe:
β’ Store fuel only in approved containers (max 25L, filled to 95%).
β’ Keep it away from heat, sparks, and direct sunlight.
β’ Never store fuel in enclosed spaces or vehicles.
β’ Avoid storing more than 50L without proper certification.
β’ Always refuel in open air and only when engines are cool.
Fuel vapours can ignite easily and cause serious harm. Proper storage isnβt optional; itβs essential. Stay safe and store smart.
