In this architectural build, the shelf angles allow brickwork runs unbroken up the whole facade because of the steel sitting behind it.

Shelf angles bolt back to the concrete slab and carry the brick course above, so the slab edge never shows in the face of the building - this facade alone has over 100 metres of them.
