We are now a Bambu Lab Partner and an authorized repair & service center for Bambu Lab printers. Some machines are already available on our website, with the full printer range becoming available this Friday, March 6th.

We have also recently restocked the following filaments:

This is Bryan Owen, and we are happy to introduce him into the Hall of Fame for Thieves!

Unfortunately, Bryan, a local man from Kangaroo Flat here in Bendigo, thought it would be a good idea to take some filament without paying, after we were happy to help him out and cancel his order as requested.

After many polite requests, calls, emails, and invoices (one of which he actually asked for), we still haven’t been able to encourage him to do the right thing, sadly.

On a more positive note, we are incredibly lucky to have so many great customers and to serve some of the nicest people around. The 3D printing community is full of wonderful individuals, and we are grateful to have carved out some success within it.

Going forward, we will be updating a few policies and changing the way we do things. More details will follow next week.

We've officially moved into our new warehouse! While it’s not yet finished and still requires a fair bit of fit-out and setup to get things running smoothly again, we’re back on the right track.

We're open for order collections, but please be patient while we continue getting everything sorted and organised. We’ve got a few more updates coming later in the week.

A few people have personally asked about the delays, while we always believe in being honest, it’s not our policy to get involved in drama or comment on other businesses or individuals.

We’d like to sincerely thank everyone for their continued patience and support during what turned into a fairly difficult and disorganised period.

We always try to find the positives, even when things don’t go to plan and we’re excited to officially say our warehouse move will be complete in the next couple of weeks!

We’re incredibly fortunate to have such supportive customers and local businesses around us. A huge shoutout to Big Hill Cranes & Heavy Haulage, who have been instrumental in moving our CNC mills. Special thanks to Mick and the team for making it all happen smoothly.

New filament stock is arriving soon and will be released to coincide with the reopening of our store and warehouse.

Thanks again to everyone for your continued patience as we’ve worked through this unexpected situation. We can’t wait to welcome you to the new space!

We wanted to give a quick update on our warehouse move and upcoming filament restocks.

Unfortunately, we can’t go into detail about the reason for the delay, but rest assured we’re working hard behind the scenes to resolve it and complete the move as soon as possible. While it’s been frustrating, the extra time has allowed us to work on some long-overdue improvements across the business.

In the meantime, we’ve resumed same-day delivery and pickup from our temporary location, and all online orders are now back to same-day dispatch if placed before our cutoff time. Please note that we are currently closed to walk-in sales.

We’ve had a lot of questions about when specific filaments will be back in stock—and the good news is, we’re only 2–3 weeks away. This restock will also include a few exciting new releases.

Going forward, instead of doing large bulk releases, we’ll be rolling out 5–10 new types and colours every 1–2 months. We’re also working on how best to integrate our locally manufactured filament, which will begin production in Bendigo later this year.

We’re still in the process of moving to our new warehouse and getting everything set up, which has caused a slight delay in processing orders. As a result, instead of same-day dispatch, we will be moving to next-business-day dispatch for the time being. This applies to both click-and-collect orders and deliveries.

We’d like to thank everyone who has offered their time and help during this move. Special thanks to Laurie and Doug for going above and beyond to assist us.

This March 22nd, a couple of our team members will be attending the Victorian Herpetological Society Reptile & Amphibian Expo to support our good friend Daniel over at 3d Viking

I'm happy to admit this is well outside our knowledge and expertise, but it's a fantastic opportunity to meet others in the 3D printing space who are using it to support their love of reptiles and amphibians.

This means our store will be closed on Saturday, March 22nd, but we will open on Sunday, March 23rd for click-and-collect orders to make up for it.

As a bonus, Friday, March 21st, will be a free delivery run to Ballarat, Victoria, for anyone in the Ballarat and surrounding areas.

A little teaser to go along with the news—we are fortunately (and unfortunately) in the position of moving to a new warehouse in the next few weeks!

There are some great benefits to the new location, including being centrally located in Bendigo and featuring a dedicated retail area at the front of the warehouse. We’ve been listening to customer feedback since our last move, and this new space will be easier to find—especially with the new signage we’ve just received.

The retail area will include displays of filament and printers that customers can come in and check out. We will also be making more time available for pickups and customer interactions.

We’ve been really lucky—over the past six months, our business has nearly tripled, which has been both exciting and a bit overwhelming. We’ve had some growing pains, but we’re listening and taking steps to improve based on customer feedback and our own observations of where we can do better.

We've got two new filament releases this week, including our Glow-in-the-Dark PLA and Matte Rainbow PLA. It has taken a little extra time to perfect the Glow-in-the-Dark PLA, but the current version is highly UV reactive from sources such as the sun or UV light.

We've more new releases of Filament coming soon and other news coming later this week.

We're releasing new filament this week and updating pictures for most filaments, including demo prints featured on the website.

We also have another free delivery run scheduled for this weekend to Ballarat and anywhere between Bendigo and Ballarat.
Simply select "Pickup" at checkout and leave a note for us.

(Last time, including it as a delivery option at checkout caused a few backend headaches for us unfortunately.)

We hope everyone had a happy Christmas and New Year! We're officially back to full speed and production now. Instead of making one of those typical posts promising bigger, better, and more amazing things to come, I’d like to share some insights into last year for myself and the team at F3DP.

We produced/sold 12–15 tons of plastic filament.
We had 7 reported rolls with quality defects, mostly due to tangles from production mistakes.
13 rolls were sent or given to customers incorrectly.
5 customers were added to our "naughty list" for behavior ranging from swearing and abuse to threats, with two cases requiring police involvement.
I think overall those are fantastic statistics. While the number of incorrect rolls sent is higher than I’d like, it’s a win and something we can very easily fix.

I’m very proud and thankful that in 2024:
We expanded our team to a total of 5 people (and one Jack Russell!).
We moved into a larger warehouse.
We more than doubled our range of filament and colors.
We certainly have things to improve on this year. My focus will be on improving the team’s knowledge and communication (especially our response times when we’re busy). Updating the website to look better and be easier to navigate is also at the top of our priority list.
