Well, we finally made it home and what an experience we had a huge thank you to the team - Ed our captain John, Neil, Jason Todd and myself we had such a great time and between the three cars we raised over $20,000.
We can’t thank you all enough for your support and donations. I am ecstatic to say that Todd and I won best presented car and highest donation for a new car in the rally. To be honest, Todd did most of the hard work and I just made him look good but we had an awesome time and again thank you so much for your support and encouragement and donations.

Hey guys - what a day!
Started off from Albury and crossed over to Victoria. Beautiful countryside and towns. Our lunch spot was a car racing track in the middle of Vic and there was a race on while we ate. We got to visit Ned and the town we stayed in is on the boarder of NSW/Vic and it the capital of Australia for water skiing. The man made lake has a vast amount of dead trees in the lake and they ski in between them!!However, as shocking as it sounds we had to pull out of the rally. Yes we lost a shock absorber which means the little Kübelwagen can’t go on the gravel roads and seeing as it’s called beyond bitumen it defeats the purpose. So Todd and I are making our way (slowly) to Wagga to meet the team there for tonight’s charity dinner for Beyond Blue

Stories like Lisa’s are just one of the many you hear when you take part in a rally like this. They remind us why these events matter — they honour those we’ve lost and recognise the people who step into the gap to fight for those who can’t

A very wet and cold day, thank you Canberra…..
Nevertheless we hit the road hard and boy was it bumpy.
Had the opportunity to go on community radio in Tumut!!
Beautiful countryside and even saw some emus. Arrived in Albury safe and warm.

We have begun our journey to Canberra for the 2026 Beyond Bitumen rally.
Starting to rain on the fwy and Todd’s convinced me that we will be fine😬

Hey all, been meaning to post this for a while. We are doing the Beyond bitumen car rally to raise money for Beyond Blue. This year I’ll be with my mate Todd and his original German military police car!!!
If you are able to help out in anyway that would be awesome. But totally understand that times are tough.
We are heading south, Starting at Canberra, across the boarder and finishing in Cowra.
