This is not an easy message to write, but it is one we can no longer avoid.
Over the last couple of weeks now, we’ve done everything we possibly can to absorb the relentless rise in fuel prices & the increasing costs of running our business. We’ve held our prices steady, hoping the market would stabilise & taking on the burden ourselves to protect our customers. But the reality has caught up — the costs have reached a level we can no longer carry.
As a result, we have no choice but to increase our prices.
Our pricing will now be reviewed weekly & will fluctuate in line with the ongoing rises & falls in fuel costs. This means prices may go up, but they may also come down when conditions allow. We promise to be as fair and transparent as possible, but the volatility in the fuel market leaves us with no other option.
What is even more frustrating — and frankly unacceptable — is the lack of meaningful action from the Australian Government. Many transport operators are already feeling the pinch & the pressure is flowing straight through to everyday households. Yet, there has been little to no intervention. The government has been blindsided by its own mistakes, leaving businesses & families to carry the weight.
We call on the government to get off their asses and start doing something useful before we end up in serious trouble as a nation. It’s time to look after our own backyard first. Support your local businesses, protect our economy & stop letting everyday Australians bear the burden of inaction.
This decision to increase prices has not been made lightly. We understand the impact it will have on our customers & we are deeply grateful for your understanding and continued support during these incredibly challenging times.
Together, we hope we can navigate these difficulties — but real change & support are needed from the top down, not just from the businesses & communities who are already doing everything they can!
