Bizmatrix hosted their 9th Annual Fundraiser Event “May For Men” recently, and what a great afternoon it was! $3500 was raised 🤩 for a very worthy cause- MATES In Construction
A BIG Thanks to Bizmatrix and member partners involved ; Working Tools Brisbane, Queensland Gas Association, Hand Heart Pocket, and Tynwald Lodge 👏

A shout out to attendees who were able to make it, and all those who donated amazing raffle prizes on the day including Testo and TradeMutt 🎁 🎉 Thanks to BUSSQ where Kristiaan & Marty who dished up a yummy sausage sizzle 😋 Craig Kendall from Standby Support and Blake from MISA gave an insight into mental health issues, and how we can go about checking in on someone, when going through tough times.

Apply for a NEW gas work licence on the RSHQ Portal from 3 February.

Create an account, complete an identity verification & get started!

Once you have your licence, you’ll be able to use the Portal for lots of on-the-job activities like issuing compliance certificates & defect notices.

Simpler, faster & cheaper online gas work compliance activities start from 3 February!

Existing gas work licence and authorisation holders will receive an invitation email in the coming days – just follow the prompts to activate your new Portal account.

The QGA hosted their AGM yesterday afernoon at the Kedron Wavell. Thank you to our members who were able to attend, and as always a special thanks to all Members in the Association for their ongoing support and contribution to the Association.

The Executive Committee delivered reports and the Election of Office was held for 2025/2026.

Congratulations 🎉 to our office bearers that we’re nominated on the evening!

The QGA looks forward to the year ahead for the association with more interesting PD sessions, welcoming new members and Corporate Partners onboard 🙂
