This is our ground control setup, with a tested range of 1.2 km.
The operator gets one low latency, high definition video feed from any camera of choice (forward or bottom) and lower resolution auxiliary streams from the rest. The laptop displays visualisation of the SLAM in realtime, and detected obstacles. In autonomous modes, path planning trajectories are also visualised.

MAV2 was flown aggressively to test our visual-inertial estimator setup, and it performed beautifully! Video below.

Synchronised IMU and camera frames from the two forward cameras (stereo configuration) are used for state estimation. No GPS!
